From Highway 101:

Whether coming from the north or south, take Embarcadero/Oregon Expressway exit in Palo Alto.

If coming from the north follow the signs for Oregon Expressway (being sure NOT to head toward Embarcadero (either east or west) or back to 101 South toward San Jose), and merge with Oregon Expressway.

If coming from the south bear to the right on the exit, following the signs to Oregon Expressway, swinging back over the highway and merging with Oregon Expressway.

Then, in either case, follow Oregon Expressway about 2 miles to El Camino Real. Cross El Camino, where the road name changes from Oregon Expressway to Page Mill. Continue up Page Mill about a mile and a half to the intersection with Foothill Expressway (you will see signs to the VA to the left). Turn left on Foothill Expressway and continue to the first light, which is Hillview Ave. Take a left at Hillview, but then an immediate right onto Miranda Ave. Keep going on Miranda a short distance and the VA Hospital will come into view on your left. Turn left at the main entrance at the giant flagpole. The building directly ahead is Building 100, where the office and lab are. Park in one of the visitors’ parking lots to the left or right of the main entrance drive.

 

From Stanford University:

Take a left on Junipero Serra from Campus Drive and proceed south along Junipero Serra, across Page Mill (Junipero Serra becomes Foothill Expressway there). Continue to the first light, which is Hillview Ave. Take a left at Hillview, but then an immediate right onto Miranda Ave. Keep going on Miranda a short distance and the VA Hospital will come into view on your left.
